Plein air painting
Painting has a reputation for being a leisurely pastime, but these recent workshops would quickly dispel that illusion. They're hard work: physically tiring and mentally draining, for most of us anyway.
You always come away from workshops with some little nugget of wisdom, and the main thing I got out of this one is that I'm not very good at landscapes. But I'll keep on trying.
