Another painting workshop

I started another workshop this week: this one is taught by an acclaimed portrait painter, Marc Chatov. We paint all day, all week, and work in oil from live models. I love it.

And this is the sketch I started this afternoon. We're supposed to work on the same painting again tomorrow, but I'm pretty happy with it at this stage, and may just start another one in the morning. I also need to jockey for a better vantage point; I'm getting tired of doing profiles.
