I came across your blog and decided to say hello. This photograph is beautiful. I also love the picture of your grandson in his red plaid shirt sitting on his grandfather's lap. Very sweet!
Wishing you and your family a healthy and happy new year!
I just discovered your blog having googled Leona Hudson of Valdosta, Ga. Leona and I have been long-distance friends for many years. I met Leona and Dugald in Greece in 1970 and shared several dinners there with them. We have kept in touch over the years generally on birthdays, holidays, etc. and I visited in her home once in Atlanta and she in mine in Charlotte. She truly was an amazing lady. On New Years day I attempted to call Leona and could not get her number so I googled to see if the number had changed. To my sadness, I saw that she had passed away. Other than back trouble and using a walker for mobility I was unaware that she was ill. If you care to comment on your blog, I would be interested in knowing the cause of death. Leona was just as you described her, full of interesting stories that kept you spellbound even when you didn't know the people she was talking about. Thank you for remembering her in your blog. I also want to say that I have read a lot of your entries and your family sounds just wonderful. I wish all of you every good blessing in the new year.
